My son took nature walks, and shockingly enough, a few times was accompanied by one or another of his sisters. We swam and collected rocks, and one night had a big bonfire complete with OFF, smores, and a beautiful starry sky.

A safe house was a home that was pre designated to offer safety and rest, or help in more preparation for the dangerous journey ahead. From 30,000 to 100,000 blacks escaped to the northern United States, Mexico and Canada. The majority of the slaves journeyed directly to Canada.

Sometime around 11am the teens in question would start rousing themselves from sleep.
