Do you think you're Operator Or possibly a CEO?

De Les Feux de l'Amour - Le site Wik'Y&R du projet Y&R.

Many individuals really confuse being an entrepreneur and being a Shailesh Dash. They are they are the same thing, but over time I've discovered that they may be actually two Completely different things.

Operator has a mind that is creative. Entrepreneurs are brimming with ideas, they're eager beavers - and they're often difficult to "control." You'll find exceptions, obviously. But all entrepreneurs are apt to have that "pioneering" streak within them - and so they never really lose it.

When a business owner starts a small business, he/she is the CEO by default. But some entrepreneurs are certainly not well suited to keep the CEO over a lengthy time frame. (I'll explain why in a minute.)

So after their company gets some success, small business owners engage a "professional CEO." Then your entrepreneur assumes an alternative plus more targeted role, doing what he / she does best. The function could possibly be in marketing, inventing, creating, innovating...or it can be technical as the name indicated.

Naturally, in addition there are many entrepreneurs available who have been shown to be great CEOs. Daily, I work tough to be that entrepreneur-turned-great CEO (and that i must say that I've done a great job advertising so far). However it does require a great deal of concentration!

Like a CEO is essentially a supervisor. A CEO needs to have a talent for building organizations, structuring, overseeing the facts, watching the financials, plus general maintaining your company in the black.

Also, a CEO's job is always to maintain the company advancing. The one biggest responsibility of your CEO is always to build "shareholder value."

And the simple truth is, most entrepreneurs don't want to think about shareholder value. Often operator just desires to paint for the canvas - not bother about selling the painting, advertising, and fulfillment. The last item an entrepreneur desires to do is see how much to charge for masterpiece therefore the company is really a profit and doesn't go bankrupt!

Most significant differences I've personally witnessed between operator along with a CEO is: the entrepreneur is loaded with new ideas and is also desperate to put them into action, while new ideas include the stuff of nightmares for the CEO. New ideas challenge structure and organization, plus they can often mean a whole lot of extra and tedious work with a CEO.

Of course there are lots of entrepreneurs-turned-CEOs that can do both. A "start-up" kind of CEO can be creative and filled with ideas, however hold the very structured mindset of a good entrepreneur.

So an entrepreneur-turned-successful CEO remains to be an artist - but clients are his art. Real artists never paint with all the value of the painting planned. Real artists paint in order to meet an inner need.
