Are You An Entrepreneur Or perhaps a CEO?

De Les Feux de l'Amour - Le site Wik'Y&R du projet Y&R.

A lot of people really confuse as an entrepreneur and as being a Shailesh Dash. They think these are the same task, but through the years I've discovered that these are actually two Unique things.

Operator has a mind which is creative. Entrepreneurs are brimming with ideas, they're eager beavers - and they are often tough to "control." You will find exceptions, obviously. But all entrepreneurs generally that "pioneering" streak inside them - and so they never really lose it.

When a business person starts a business, he/she could be the CEO automagically. But a majority of entrepreneurs aren't well suited to be the CEO over an extended period of time. (I'll explain why in just a moment.)

So after their company gets some success, many small business owners hire a "professional CEO." Then the entrepreneur assumes another and more targeted role, doing what she or he does best. The function may be in marketing, inventing, creating, innovating...or it could be technical anyway.

Needless to say, there are also many entrepreneurs on the market that have proved to be great CEOs. Each day, I work hard to be that entrepreneur-turned-great CEO (i must say that I conducted an excellent job advertising so far). However it does require a lots of concentration!

For a CEO is actually a supervisor. A CEO needs to have a talent for building organizations, structuring, overseeing the important points, watching the financials, and in general keeping the company within the black.

Also, a CEO's job is usually to maintain the company continue. The single biggest responsibility of an CEO is always to build "shareholder value."

And also the truth is, most entrepreneurs don't want to think about shareholder value. Often operator just wants to paint about the canvas - not bother about selling the painting, advertising, and fulfillment. Usually the final thing an entrepreneur really wants to do is see how much to charge with regards to masterpiece hence the company constitutes a profit and go under!

One of the biggest differences We have personally witnessed between a business owner as well as a CEO is: the entrepreneur is FULL of new ideas and it is needing to implement them, while new ideas include the stuff of nightmares for the CEO. New ideas challenge structure and organization, and they could mean a considerable amount of extra and tedious help a CEO.

Needless to say there are numerous entrepreneurs-turned-CEOs who can do both. A "start-up" kind of CEO may be creative and brimming with ideas, but nonetheless have the very structured mindset of an good n entrepreneur.

So an entrepreneur-turned-successful CEO continues to be a painter - but clients are his art. Real artists never paint using the value from the painting in your mind. Real artists paint in order to meet an inner need.
