Grc in gurgaon, bricks and tiles are the main building materials used in the building of buildings. Today, rise in the interest in various building materials have led to many building material manufacturers. Many new building materials are environmental hazards, which have turned into a big concern to everyone.


Traditionally, the fundamental types of building materials useful for construction were mud, stone and brush. Mud was utilized for filling the spaces between bricks and acted like a concrete and insulation. Centuries ago, houses were created entirely of dirt and clay. This is accompanied by using rocks (mainly granite) as building material. From the Neolithic period through the medieval age to modern days, granite has become commonly used being a building material. Brush structures were commonly affecting tropical areas and were created entirely from plant parts such as branches, bark, twigs leaving. These structures were often employed by Indigenous peoples as resting places.

Stones and bricks were also common in construction. Various kinds of bricks have been and still useful for masonry. For example specially shaped bricks for joints, striking and tooling, along with glazed or rubbed bricks for decorative purposes.

Thatch is amongst the oldest varieties of building materials used for roofing. Another generic building material is wood. Due to the diverse character of various varieties of wood, quite a few for any form of structure in most climates. Though wood structures were very common historically, they disappeared together with the approach of concrete structures.

Concrete is a composite building material made up of aggregate and a binder (cement). Concrete finds use in every forms of building construction. Fly ash can be a major ingredient inside the concrete mix due to its lightweight and thermal insulation.

Recently, new types of building materials are employed. These include metals (for your structural framework of larger buildings), plastics, asbestos and fabrics. Tar-based waterproof materials, paper linoleum, polyvinyl chloride clay and solvent coatings for inner wall is also building materials.
