Virtual crossmatching was performed comparing donor tissue typing as determined by a single specific primer-polymerase chain reaction (SSP-PCR) with HLA antibodies as identified after performing a single-antigen test on pre-transplant sera. Statistical analysis was performed using IBM SPSS Statistics version 19 software for Mac. Normally distributed data were reported as mean �� standard deviation (SD) and mean values were compared using Student's t-test.
