B-TG, D-Dimer) and Enzygnost kits by Dade Behring company (TAT micro, F1+2 micro). Readings were performed with the use of Model 680 microplate readers produced by BioRad Laboratories, and the following software: Microplate Manager. The statistical analysis of the data included mean values and standard deviations. If the acquired data had a normal distribution, a standard Student's t-test was used in order to compare the examined groups. In case of no features of normal distribution, the Mann-Whitney U rank-sum test was used. In order to find correlations between particular features, correlation matrix was [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CAPNS1 CAPNS1] calculated with Pearson's coefficient of correlation. In case of deviations from normal distribution for a given pair of parameters, Spearman's rank correlation coefficient was found. Coefficient values of p [http://www.selleckchem.com/products/s-gsk1349572.html selleck chemicals llc] administration (Fig. 1,Tab. 2). In the control group the concentration levels of all examined parameters were within normal ranges. The analysis of the study group (n = 35) showed an increase of the following levels after contrast administration: [http://www.selleckchem.com/products/bmn-673.html Talazoparib mouse] vWF:Ag in 15 individuals (41.6%), TAT in 12 (33%), F1+2 in 21 (58%), and D-Dimers in as many as 26 patients (72%). After contrast medium administration, the levels of F1+2, TAT and D-Dimers increased. The levels of vWF:Ag and -TG that had already been increased at baseline, showed a statistically insignificant downward tendency but did not obtain normal values, as in the control group (Tab. 2, Fig. 1a-d). An increase of F1+2 and TAT values after contrast administration was statistically highly significant (p = 0.005 and p = 0.008, respectively) ( Fig. 1b, 1c). The volume of the administered contrast medium did not have any influence on the assessed hemostatic parameters, while the type of contrast medium and/or the route of administration significantly influenced the obtained results. In the group of patients receiving iopromide intraarterially(n = 12), there was an increase in vWF:Ag levels, while in the group treated intravenously with iomeprol (n = 23), the levels of vWF:Ag decreased. Those differences were statistically significant (p = 0.002) (Fig. 2).
